When it comes to the odds of your winning a poker hand, the lower the kicker (the lowest card in your hand), the higher your chance of victory will be. That’s why it’s important to always have a solid pair in your hand when possible and to play the cards you have.
When playing poker it’s also essential to remember that the flop is community cards and anyone can use them. So, even if you’re holding pocket kings or queens the flop could kill your hand. That’s why you need to be cautious and be wary of calling re-raises from early positions.
